Frequently asked questions

Q: Why would a company choose to outsource an HR function or project instead of hiring an HR person?

A: Not all businesses have enough demand for full time HR staff. This is especially true for small business owners, who usually find themselves managing the HR function on their own or delegating HR tasks to someone with little to no formal HR training. Outsourcing part or all of their HR function allows companies to immediately gain access to HR expertise using a more flexible, cost-effective model.

Q: Would Aristella Consulting really replace my current HR staff of management?

A: We are here to supplement and support your existing HR team based on your needs. If one of your HR team members is going on temporary leave, we can provide interim HR services. If you don’t have dedicated HR staff or a need for a full time HR person, we can be your fractional HR department on retainer.

Q: Is Aristella Consulting a staffing agency?

A: We do not place temporary or contract employees with our clients. We can, however, handle your direct hire recruiting needs for any hourly or salaried talent you’re looking to hire.

Q: What size companies do you typically work with?

A: We can support companies of all sizes in different ways. Companies with less than 500 employees tend to gain a lot of value from working with us on a retainer basis, while larger companies with an HR team may need additional help on a project or ad hoc basis.

Q: What differentiates Aristella Consulting from other HR consulting companies?

A: We value your time and we aim to get up to speed on your needs quickly so that we can begin to make a meaningful impact as quickly as possible. We’re true business partners, who won’t judge you, won’t be afraid to tell you like it is, and will celebrate with you as you reach your goals.

Businesses come to us with varying needs. Our goal is to understand those needs and to find the right HR solution that is in the best interest of every business we work with.
